Annual Flu and COVID Vaccines
In the last few months of the year, the risk of getting the flu or COVID-19 increases. If older adults become infected, they can get very sick and end up in the hospital.
Starting October 31, 2026, you can get the flu shot and the COVID-19 vaccine. These shots provide better protection. If you get the flu or COVID-19, you’re less likely to become seriously ill.
The vaccines are free. You can choose whether you want just the COVID-19 vaccine, just the flu vaccine, or both.
